Meet Dr. Victoria Louis (Sylvania, OH)

Victoria R. Louis, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Hiram College.

While attending optometry school, Dr. Louis interned at the Dayton V.A. Hospital optometry clinic and Professional Vision Care in Westerville, specializing in vision therapy and children’s developmental vision. She discovered her love for optometry while in grad school, initially studying genetic research. Dr. Louis enjoys being an optometrist because it allows her to make a noticeable and immediate improvement in people’s lives.

Dr. Louis is a member of the Ohio Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. She occasionally lectures on children’s vision and is a RealEyes presenter at local elementary schools. She also volunteers at the Mildred Bayer Homeless Clinic, doing eye exams on the patients there.

Dr. Louis enjoys golf, cycling, and needlepoint when she is not treating patients. She and her husband have two children and live in Bowling Green, Ohio.
